  2026 Texas Conference for Women: Coaches Corner Opportunity

  The 2026 Texas Conference for Women (TCW) will take place on Monday, October 5, 2026, at the Moody Center in Austin and ICF Greater Austin is excited to participate once again.

  We’re offering chapter members the opportunity to coach at the conference’s highly visible Coaches Corner, connecting with more than 9,000 leaders, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers.

  This is a meaningful way to showcase the impact of professional coaching while gaining experience, visibility, and documented coaching hours.

  Event Details

  ·       Where: Moody Center, 2001 Robert Dedman Drive, Austin, TX 78712

  ·       When: Monday, October 5, 2026, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (CDT)

  What to Expect:

  ·       Two in-person coaching shifts (approximately 4 hours total)

  ·       20-minute coaching sessions per client

  To participate, you must:

  ·       Be a current member of ICF Global and one of the following chapters: Austin, Houston, North Texas, or San Antonio

  ·       Hold an ICF credential or have 100+ coaching hours through an ICF-accredited program

  Partnering with AI: Practical Use of AI for Coaching Professionals is a dynamic, hands-on session for coaches who want to use AI with confidence—without compromising ethics, presence, or coaching mastery. You’ll learn a simple, coach-friendly framework for what to delegate to AI, what to protect, and what to never outsource, then see real examples you can apply immediately: faster session prep, sharper questions, clearer theme-spotting, stronger between-session practices, and better follow-through that keeps the client in the driver’s seat. We’ll also cover the essentials of responsible use—confidentiality, consent, bias, and data safety—so you can integrate AI in ways that strengthen trust and elevate outcomes. Leave with practical workflows, ready-to-use prompts, and a “first 7 days” action plan to start partnering with AI right away.
  

  WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  Explain what “partnering with AI” means in a coaching context—AI as an assistant that supports coaching excellence, not a substitute for the coach-client relationship. Apply a clear decision framework for what to delegate to AI, what to safeguard, and what to never outsource. Use AI to strengthen key moments in the coaching journey (intake, session prep, live coaching, reflection, between-session support, progress reviews). Write and adapt high-quality prompts that produce useful results while maintaining client agency and avoiding leading or biased outputs. Implement ethical guardrails for confidentiality, consent, data handling, bias, transparency, and appropriate boundaries. Create a personal “AI practice plan” (tools, workflows, policies, and first steps) aligned to their coaching niche and comfort level.
  

  SPEAKER BIO:

  Susan Caesar is a strategist, storyteller, and systems leader working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, human development, and the living world. She serves as the Director of Artificial Intelligence at the International Coaching Federation (ICF), where she leads the responsible integration of AI across a global community of more than 60,000 coaches. Susan guides ICF’s AI strategy for 2026 and beyond, ensuring that emerging technologies strengthen human capability, elevate professional standards, and uphold the dignity, agency, and wellbeing of people worldwide. Susan is also the Founder of humain.org, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing life-centered leadership and innovation. Her work at Humain.org champions two core commitments: women leading with life and innovation that regenerates the natural world.   The Code of Ethics supports you as a coach by providing guidance for professional behaviors as well as for your coaching relationships. Ideally, ethics are taught well in coaching training, and it doesn’t always happen. Ideally, each coach knows and lives the Code of Ethics from whichever organization they are associated with professionally, and it doesn’t always happen.

  In this session coaches will gain tips on using their Code of Ethics and discuss three different case studies with reference to the standards in the Code of Ethics that provide guidance.

  About the speakers:

  Cathy Liska is the CEO / Founder of the Center for Coaching Certification. As the Guide from the Side®, she coaches, trains, mediates conflicts, and facilitates internationally. Cathy is a sought-after trainer and coach, drawing from her 30 years of experience in business ownership and management.

  Her personal mission statement is “People.” Cathy is known for her passion in sharing the insight, experience, positive attitude, and information that empower others to achieve the results they desire.

  Burnout is rising across industries, roles, and geographies — with profound consequences for individuals, organizations, and performance.

  In this interactive, research-based session, participants will learn how to recognize early signs of burnout in themselves and others (colleagues, clients, and teams), understand the boundaries between coaching, stress, and clinical mental health, and apply ICF-aligned approaches to support sustainable well-being and performance — at work and at home.

  Drawing on global research, workplace data, lived experience, and practical tools, Ellen Kocher, MA, ICF MCC, NBHWC, will guide both coaches and non-coaches through reflection, self-assessment, and real-world application.

  Participants will leave with concrete strategies to use a coach approach confidently and ethically in a context where mental health challenges and burnout are no longer exceptional, but structural.

  Breathing is one of the most direct ways to influence human physiology, yet it is rarely discussed within coaching conversations around stress, resilience, and performance. In this session, coaches will learn a practical framework for understanding how breathing patterns influence the brain, nervous system, and heart, and how these physiological systems shape the way clients experience and respond to stress.

  Participants will explore how different breathing patterns affect emotional regulation, cognitive clarity, and nervous system balance. The session will break down the underlying physiology in a way that is accessible and immediately applicable within a coaching context.

  Coaches will also learn practical breathing tools that can be integrated directly into coaching sessions. These techniques can help clients regulate stress, navigate anxiety, and shift their physiological state in moments where clarity, focus, and emotional stability are needed most.

  SPEAKER BIO:

  Kevin Connelly is an author, speaker, and researcher specializing in breathing physiology and nervous system regulation. He is the founder of Reconnect, a training organization that teaches professionals how to apply breathing techniques to help clients regulate stress, improve emotional stability, and perform under pressure. He has researched how breathing influences the brain and heart, and has written about breathing patterns and addiction recovery. Through Reconnect, he has trained addiction associations, first responder organizations, coaches, therapists, and doctors worldwide.
